About Central Park

Central park is an 843-acre urban park located in Manhattan in New York City. It was initially opened in 1857 and is the most visited urban park in the United States. The park is also one of the most famous sightseeing spots in New York.

There are a lot of activities to do in Central Park such as boating, going to the central park zoo, and ice skating (in the winter). Other things people like to do are go on carriage horse rides and pedicab rides. Many people also just like to simply walk through the park and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

About Central Park Zoo

The Central Park Zoo is a 6.5 acre zoo located in Central Park, and it was the first official zoo to open in New York.

There are three parts to the zoo, which are the tropic, temperate, and polar exhibits. Some of the animals at the zoo include snow leopards, sea lions, penguins, polar bears, frogs, snakes, and many more.

Some of the popular events at the zoo include penguin feeding and presentation and the sea lion feeding and presentation. These events show the animals being fed, and during the se alion presentation, the crowd can watch as the sea lions do tricks.

The Central Park Zoo has appeared in popular culture many times. It was featured in the children’s book Mr. Popper’s Penguins and in the movie version of the book. It is also mentioned in J.D. Salinger’s The Catcher in the Rye and Truman Capote’s Summer Crossing. In addition, the zoo is featured in the three Madagascar movies as well as the animated series The Penguins of Madagascar.
